I learned earlier tonight that Aubrey Plaza (of Parks and Rec., Funny People fame) was a waitress at my Aunt’s restaurant. The last time she saw her was when Aubrey came in to tell her that She had to miss work to go audition for a small part as a page on 30 Rock. She hasn’t been back.

Have you ever thought of trying your hand at something other than comedy videos? Like maybe a little mini suspense thriller or heart-wrenching drama? Might be interesting.

I go to Art school, and made a couple of artistic pieces. The thing is, filming can be a long grueling process, and I have found that I have more fun while shooting comedy rather than shooting something serious. That doesn’t mean I don’t want to tell stories that aren’t comedies. I am a filmmaker first, comedian second. I have a script that I am currently working on that has a very different mood than the work I have done over the past year or so. Hopefully I’ll be able to show it to you sometime in the future!

Shit, I had this idea awhile ago to reenact scenes from movies on twitter but never had the time to make a ton of twitter accounts and type out the dialogue. I guess the next time I have an idea like that I should act on it quicker.
